From Kolkata (West Bengal) Sundarbans is about 100-120 km from Kolkata. Nearest entrance: Godkhali Jetty (main entrance).
🚌 By road: From Kolkata → Canning (via Baruipur/Sonarpur) → Godkhali. You can go by private car, taxi or bus (approx. 3-4 hours).
🚆 By train: From Kolkata (Sealdah station) → Canning station (1.4 hours journey). From Canning → By bus, auto, Tata Magic or van → Godkhali Jetty (approx. 45 min.).
🚤 By boat: From Godkhali Jetty → Boat trip to Sundarbans Islands.
✈️ Nearest airport: Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata (CCU) is the nearest airport. From the airport → By bus or cab to Godkhali.
